Rumor has it that Zaful bikinis run small—and to be honest, they do. Or at least the two that I bought did. I typically wear a small but decided to order a medium in both bikinis and they fit perfectly (normally mediums are too big so this confirmed the small sizing fear). That being said, though, they fit great—the cups of the top were just the right size and the bottoms provided enough coverage (no thongs here!) without looking like granny panties. And any woman who has shopped for bikini bottoms recently knows that combination is almost impossible to find.

Plus, Zaful has a whole collection of plus size swimwear, too, along with all different swimsuit styles that fit and flatter any body type. Whether you want a size S one-piece or a size XXXXL high-waisted bikini (and anything in between), Zaful has a wide variety to choose from.

Is Zaful swimwear good quality?

The first summer I owned my Zaful bikinis (i.e. last summer), I had zero issues. I wore them at least 15 times each, including at the beach, the pool, and the river. I didn’t notice any pilling or fading—until this year. The bottoms of the black bikini have a little bit of pilling while the top has noticeably faded to a much less deeper shade of black. The cheetah bikini, however, is holding up just fine.

I also noticed that some of the elastic is starting to become a lot less stretchy, especially in the bottoms. That’s not a problem when I’m just laying out but can cause some near wardrobe mishaps when I’m up playing volleyball or swimming in the ocean. Fortunately it’s not too bad yet but I can’t imagine that the black bottoms will make it to next summer at this rate.ADVERTISEMENT

That being said, there have been zero issues with the cheetah swimsuit which leads me to believe that, like the clothes from similar brand Shein, Zaful swimwear can be hit or miss. Certain bathing suits are better quality than others—so I definitely recommend reading reviews before you purchase a suit just to see what others have experienced with that particular piece. Also, while the black bathing suit is likely going to have to be tossed after this year, that still means it lasted for two full summers. And for just $10, I can’t really complain. That’s a great value buy in my book!

Should you buy a Zaful bikini?

If you’re looking for a high-quality bathing suit that will last you for years and years to come, probably not. But if you just want a few inexpensive, fun swimsuits to add to your current collection (and understand that they won’t last more than a season or two), then yes. I’m a big fan of Zaful swimwear because I like switching up my bikinis every year and Zaful is a cheap way to do that.

They may not be the highest quality bathing suits and sizing can be hit or miss but in this case, you get what you pay for. (Not to mention they have plus sizes and styles for any and every body type.) And even if your bathing suit only makes it through two summers, that’s more than worth the measly $10 you spent on the entire set. I.e. I give Zaful a big thumbs up for those of us who don’t want to spend a lot on swimwear and still get a bikini that you can wear for a few months.

CDkeys has brought a breath of fresh air into the game key reselling industry. Unlike their competitors, they have been quietly serving their customers in the midst of all this chaos and controversy.

Many of CDkeys.com’s competing websites like Kinguin and G2A also sell various software keys, such as Windows keys and Antivirus keys. However, CDkeys is still almost entirely focused on their specific niche – video game cd keys. They don’t sell in-game currencies, virtual skins, Windows keys, or anything of the sort. CDkeys has its niche, and it’s sticking to it.

There could be many reasons for CDkeys’ unwillingness to enter the software key reselling industry. I would argue that the main reason is high competitiveness. The Windows key reselling industry is already flooded with suspiciously cheap offers. Mostly as a result of fraudulent and illegitimate key purchasing through credit card scams and theft. Let’s be honest, CDkeys’ regional reselling strategy would likely not suffice in such a market. Therefore, they decided to stick to their guns and stay with game key selling. And, it’s probably for the best.

However, it’s more than likely that the growing authority of the Steam platform in the early 2010s had something to do with it. At the time, the Steam platform was already turning the video game industry upside down. 

No longer were physical copies of video games the norm. Instead, customers were choosing with increasing frequency to purchase their games online. Overall, I am very impressed with the CD Keys user experience as a whole. It’s very simple to use, straight-forward, and effective. However, the only aspect which seems strange to me is the phone verification. I understand it’s necessary to verify a purchase in order to avoid identity theft. However, why is required only AFTER you have paid for your product?

It might be nitpicking, but I think it should be standard practice all-round to verify important details before the payment process. Otherwise, if you run into problems with verification, you will have paid for the product, without having received the actual product you already paid for. The customer service may be quick and effective in most cases, but it’s still a situation none of us would like to be involved in.

It’s good that at least the phone verification takes a very short time. The automated system sends a verification code to your mobile, and once you type it into CDkeys.com, you’re all set to go.

Once you hit “download”, you will find the scanned version of your key. Type the key into Steam or another platform, and you’re all done. The whole process is incredibly simple similar to other cdkey websites, provided nothing goes wrong.

Where Do The Keys Come From?

When you create an account and purchase a key from CDkeys, then you are buying from the store itself, and not from another user. As it turns out, this is a very important detail. That is because, in the case of marketplaces such as G2A and Kinguin, you purchase keys from individual sellers and not a business entity. In the latter case, you always run the risk of purchasing a game key obtained through highly illegal methods from another user. Credit card fraud is a serious offense, and platforms such as G2A and Kinguin tend to serve as a nest for fraudulent activities. In reality, this means that CDkeys.com buys video games in bulk from cheap third-world countries. And, after that, they re-sell these same keys to customers in first-world countries at a higher price.

Before you grab your pitchforks, let me give you some quick food for thought.

Regional Reselling – Is It Legit?

It’s in the best interest of video game companies to adjust their prices for each country. Consumers in third-world countries would not be able to spend all of their savings to get their hands on a $60 copy of Call of Duty. They might, however, be willing to spend $30. Once a video game company has already finished the time-consuming and expensive process of developing of a game, it’s in their best interest to sell as many copies of the game as possible. Even if that means selling their products at a highly discounted price in some areas of the globe.

After all, it costs a video game company next to nothing to put their product on a disk and ship it out to stores. Obviously, a $60 profit is preferable, but a $30 profit is also something they cannot afford to lose. Every penny counts in the corporate world, especially when investors are involved. In fact, when it comes to public companies, maximizing profits is not only ethical, but it’s required by law. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that this same strategy of price-adjusting has been used by major corporations for hundreds of years.

The CDkeys Business Model

Regional price differences allow resellers such as CDkeys.com to make a profit. In fact, their whole business strategy is based on taking advantage of regional price differences and purchase points.

This strategy might make CDkeys.com not seem very legit and ethical at first sight, but in reality, they are one of the most ethical gray-market traders out there.

As I mentioned, it’s common practice in most major industries to reduce labor and manufacturing costs by taking advantage of regional price differences. CDkeys is no different in regards to this. In fact, they even openly acknowledge their reselling business model on their Frequently Asked Questions section.

CDkeys is undoubtedly taking advantage of regional price differences, but they are doing it in a transparent and honest way. In my opinion, such commitment to transparency is a welcome sight in the third-party key reselling industry. I wish all gray-market companies were as transparent as CDkeys. If this was the case, there would be no gray-market at all. Illegitimate online stores would be seen for what they are – black market stores. And, at the same time, legit stores would be seen for what they are – trustworthy and safe to purchase from.

This leads us to our main question, which deserves an entire section of its own. It’s a simple question in itself, but it’s surprisingly difficult to answer. The question is, of course – is cdkeys legit?

Is CDkeys Legit?

CDkeys.com is legit in every meaning of the word. Both from a “working as intended” and “legality” type of perspective.

In order to answer the question of whether or not cdkey is legit or not, we should first define “legit”. As a law journal, we would quickly define “legit” as “legal”. However, “legit” tends to also have a second meaning, which is “working as intended”. Therefore, we thought it would be best to consider whether cdkey’s legitimacy from two different standpoints. Firstly, I will consider cdkey’s legitimacy from a “working as intended” standpoint. And, after that, from a “legal” type of legitimacy standpoint.

Is CDkeys Safe?

In addition to being legit, the CDkeys.com platform is also amongst the safest in the gray-market area. Their keys are sold to you directly from the business entity itself, and not individual users. As I mentioned before, this does not guarantee 100% safety. However, it’s still considerably safer than open marketplaces. When you purchase a key or account from an individual user on an open marketplace, you have no information on where the key is coming from. You will never know whether it was obtained through legal or illegal methods. And, as such, your key could be revoked at any time.

It needs to be said, though, that there is still some risk involved, even on cdkeys.

The CDkeys terms and conditions clearly state that they “accept no refunds or returns”, and that they are “not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from lost or stolen programs or use without permission”. This means that you have no real guarantee or warranty for your purchase.

If you want a 100% safe and risk-free purchase, then your only real option is to purchase retail.

Whether or not purchasing from retail or from CDkeys is better, is up to you. You should decide whether the risk is worth it or not.

For me personally, I think taking the risk by buying from CDkeys is, in many cases, justified. After all, the price differences between retail and cdkeys.com can be astounding. Coupled with the fact that I have only had good experiences on the  platform, it’s an easy “yes” for me to go with them. There may be some risk involved, but I have yet to see any negative results from taking this risk.

The lack of refunds and returns on cdkeys.com is a non-problem for me as the keys sold by CDkeys tend to work without any issues. I have found cdkeys.com to be the most reliable and trustworthy out of all the gray-market online stores I have come across, and my overall experience with cdkeys.com has so far been stellar.  Fair warning, their customer service isn’t the worst, but it isn’t amazing.

Is CDkeys legit? Yes. No question about it. They are a reliable and trustworthy platform for finding cheap game keys. If you have no problems with going gray-market with your game purchases, you might as well go with cdkeys.com.

In this Wix review, we look at its main features and list the pros and cons of this platform. Let’s see how it goes.

Wix Pros

Over the years Wix has earned over 150 million users – so it has to be doing something right. Most people are with this provider because of beautiful templates and an intuitive drag-and-drop editor.

Others are using Wix for Artificial Intelligence designs, hundreds of apps to customize, and a plan that lets you create a website absolutely free.

So, let’s look at what good and bad Wix has to offer.

1. Designer-made templates

Wix is best known for hundreds of beautiful templates it has to offer. The platform employs an in-house team of designers, working on creating responsive, functional, and award-winning designs.

There are over 500 templates covering themes for all kinds of businesses. Templates are designed for online stores, blogs, portfolios, and are also separated into different categories for various businesses.

2. User-friendly website builder

Wix claims to offer the best website builder in the industry – and for this Wix review, we had a chance to check that out for ourselves.

The process of customizing a theme includes dragging-and-dropping elements – images, text boxes, buttons, etc. on your website-to-be.

Everything you drop jumps on an invisible grid and attaches to the website. Yet,you may still put the elements wherever you wish, and it still looks tidy.

It gives you the freedom to create the website you want.

Wix also offers hundreds of fonts but you can upload your own if that’s not enough. Furthermore, depending on the background you choose, or the template, Wix suggests using a matching color scheme.

But if you wish, you can play around with all sorts of color combinations.

This feature is easily accessible once you try designing particular elements of the website.

One more feature of the website builder is the integrated Corvid code editor. It’s accessible at the bottom of the builder’s page at all times and can be used to add extra functions to your website.

Corvid uses JavaScript as its language base, so you can edit and create features right in the Wix website builder. If you want to add custom CSS or HTML to your website you have to go through site settings.

There you can use the Tracking and Analytics page to add tools and code.

If you don’t have much time for customizing and testing every little detail and if a personal web developer is not a solution for your budget, Wix has you covered.

It has a feature that is certain to please people looking for ultimate ease of use. It’s called Wix Artificial Design Intelligence (or ADI) and promises to create a personal design based on a few questions you answer.

It chooses a fitting layout, matches the color scheme to your logo, adds fonts, styles, and all that. You can also select what added functionalities you need – a blog or a live chat, for example.

Also, based on the topic of your website, ADI can recommend some features that it thinks you might like. Below we tested just how long it takes to have a functioning website created with the help of ADI.

Two and a half minutes later we have a website. Complete with a blog, fitting stock images, contact form, and text placeholders. So, now that ADI created the base for your websiteyou can modify and add finishing touches.

What is left to do is to upload your content, images, and press Publish.

4. Hundreds of useful apps

You can easily enhance the functionality of your website by visiting Wix App Market. Hundreds of Wix apps are put into 21 different categories including forums, blogs, online store tools, and must-have apps.

You’ll find both free and paid apps available here. Other apps have a free version that you can use and a paid version to upgrade to when your business grows.

Some of our favorite must-have apps are:

Visitor Analytics – lets you analyze and track tons of information about your customers. What are your most popular pages, how much time users spend on your website and much more. Its a bit more beginner-friendly version of Google Analytics and is GDPR-compliant.

Wix Pro Gallery – This plugin has been downloaded more than 2,5 million times and allows you to add beautiful looking galleries to your website. With it, you can optimize and control the size of your photo, add a video or text elements, and choose from 12 different layout options.

Wix Chat – allows you to have a live chat option directly on your website. You can connect to your customers faster and create auto-replies for different situations.

5. Free plan

Whether to test it out, or use it as a learning tool, Wix has a great option – a free plan. You can use it to create up to 2 websites using all of the offered features with one account.

What does it include?

Wix free plan gives you 500MB storage space and 500MB bandwidth. It’s enough for a lightweight website. You simply register with Wix (credit card info is not required).

Unfortunately, you cannot connect your own domain. The subdomain is generated automatically according to your website name and added to the .wixsite.com domain, eg. mywebsite.wixsite.com.

Wix also displays its ribbon at the top of the page that anyone that visits your website will see. While it’s annoying you are getting a free website in return.

Apart from that, you can use every feature Wix has to offer including ADI, Corvid code editor, and apps with the free plan.

Wix Cons

While Wix is great in general, it does have some drawbacks.

Let’s see where Wix can make some improvements.

1. Wix pricing

Wix is not cheap. There are 8 premium plans and the cheapest one starts at $13/month. For a more advanced website, you can scale up to the VIP plan for $39/month.

eCommerce plans for business start at $23/month and can cost up to $500/month for enterprises.

All of the plans get you a free domain and also allow connecting your own. With the Combo plan, you’ll also get 2GB of bandwidth and 3GB of storage. Wix suggests it’s best for personal use.

You can update premium website plans up to unlimited bandwidth, 20GB storage, 2 hours of video allowed, and priority support.

As for the business and eCommerce plans, Business Basic for $23/month will get you unlimited bandwidth, 20GB storage, and is 100% commission-free for payments. The Enterprise plan, on the other hand, offers unlimited bandwidth, even more unlimited services, and individualized maintenance support.

All in all, Wix services are a bit costly. However, for many, the features in the plans will be well worth the expenses.

2. Help center and customer support

Wix customer support (tickets and call-backs) in English, Spanish, and Portuguese can be reached on Monday-Friday from 5 am to 5 pm PST. Italian support is available from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm GMT+1.

But if you wish to reach it, you’ll need to work for it.

That’s because instead, Wix intends to solve the main issues through an extensive help center – it has a lot of articles and step-by-step tutorials.

And while the help center is incredibly thorough, sometimes it may not be enough.

For example, for this Wix review, I wanted to ask the support about optimizing their video background which was causing serious performance issues.

First I discovered an article related to my problem where I found a link to the Troubleshooter.

And there, I eventually discovered a way to contact the support (a very small button at the bottom of the page).

Luckily, I only waited 30 minutes for a response. The answers were also extensive and helpful. So if the help center won’t give you the information you need, 30 minutes later, someone from the ticket service will.

Now, about the live chat:

Currently, Wix does not have a live chat support option. But with the request from multiple users, it’s planning to introduce the option at some point.

While preparing this Wix review, I got extremely lucky. I managed to get a sneak-peak to the upcoming live chat.

As far as I can understand, they are testing it – and from what I got to see, they’re heading in the right direction.

Waiting time was about 2 minutes, and overall, the agent was informative and ready to help.

So, while currently, Wix customer support isn’t perfect, it’s clearly trying to improve its current awkward state.

And that’s a very good thing – hopefully, the live chat feature will soon be available to all users.

3. Technical limitations

First, when using Wix, you can’t choose your own hosting provider or a server.  You are automatically assigned with hosting – Wix is your host, website builder, developer, and even marketing specialist.

Wix aims to be a reliable hosting provider that has everything you need. It even introduced some enhancements to its servers to offer speed faster than Captain Marvel with the new Wix Turbo feature. Or so they claim.

However, some of the website elements are not well optimized. Namely – the video backgrounds. A small looping video, selected from Wix’s own library has slowed the website down significantly.

Another technical problem might occur if you decide to move elsewhere.

Wix claims that everything on the website is yours and only yours. But transferring a website will most probably require the services of an experienced web developer.

But there are no Wix-approved tools for website transfer from and to Wix. So while you can create a great page using a website builder like Wix, it does come with a few limitations.

Wix will be great for projects both small and large. However, it might never overrun the flexibility of platforms like WordPress where you have full control over every detail.

Wix Review – The Verdict

Wix offers elegant templates, customizable editor, artificial design capabilities, and hundreds of powerful applications. This makes it a great option for personal and business use.

There are areas for improvement: the customer support needs some improvement, the video backgrounds slow the website down significantly, and the premium plans could be just a little bit cheaper.

But if those issues are not massive dealbreakers to you, then I strongly suggest you give Wix a try. It could be just a perfect website builder for you.
